We went took the MRT to Dongmen Station to try the popular beef noodles along Yongkang Street. This street has many small eateries and shops. Pretty good place to hang around and explore.
Yong Kang Beef Noodles 永康牛肉麺館 is indeed one of the best beef noodles I have ever tasted. Though I am not a fan of beef, I still contend that the beef chunks were very soft and tender. This stall is indeed a must-try in Taipei.
After that, we walked along the streets and chanced upon Smoothie House. We tried the popular fruits mix snowflake ice for NTD190 which is extremely flavourful and sweet.
In the evening, we took the MRT to Tamsui Station. It was an extremely long journey and we reached just in time to see the sunset at Fisherman's Wharf and Lovers' Bridge. The view from there was breathtaking.
Following that, we we took the MRT back to QSquare at Taipei Main Station for dinner. We ate at a restaurant called Little Spoon which serves Vietnamese cuisine.
