Drury Lane Cafe
Our next stop of the day was Drury Lane Cafe. With a flashy red exterior, one would definitely not miss this cafe.
We ordered Eggs Benedict for SGD12. Personally, I felt that it was not up to standard. The poached eggs were too watery, the bacon was too salty and the toast was not crispy. Besides, I was expecting a different kind of toast but all that was given was just white bread. The hollandaise sauce was unsatisfactory too. We also ordered a slice of banana bread with espresso butter. It tasted really good as it was soft, warm and I could taste the strong flavour.
